Ferry Building & Farmer's Market

The Ferry Building Marketplace is located along the Embarcadero at the foot of Market Street. It is the center of a transit hub that connects all of San Francisco’s neighborhoods and the surrounding bay communities. The marketplace is accessible by MUNI, BART and Ferry Boat. The historic trolley cars (Line F Market) stop directly in front of the Ferry Building.

Hog Island Oyster Co.

Located within the Ferry Building, Hog Island Oyster Co. offers diners unparalleled views of the bay and the best oysters in town. Louis and Laura have spent many a Saturday morning or odd afternoon feasting on these local delicacies together.

Yuerba Buena Park

This downtown park is a garden oasis in the heart of the city. Yuerba Buena is located directly adjacent to MoMA and offers entertainment, dining and art.

Samovar Tea House

Essential San Francisco, this upscale tea lounge sports panoramic views of Yuerba Buena park and delicious teas of all varieties. Samovar Tea House is also the site of Louis and Laura's first date.

The Grove Restaurant

Just a block from MoMA, The Grove is a great spot serving California causal cuisine and is a long time favorite of Louis and Laura's from well before the dating days. Stop by for a meal or a token avocado toast snack anytime of day.

The California Academy of Sciences

A gem of Golden Gate Park and longtime favorite of Laura's, the Cal Academy was a natural choice for the engagement photoshoot. Among the largest museums of natural history in the world, the academy houses over 26 million specimens and is a wonder to observe by all ages.
